This limited edition Oris Rega Fleet watch belongs to the Swiss watchmaker’s Big Crown ProPilot series and combines all the innovative features of a classic pilot’s watch with some special nods to an important non-profit air rescue organisation in Switzerland. Rega’s fleet of rescue aircraft comprises 18 helicopters and 3 fixed wing aircraft that complete thousands of life saving missions per year whilst relying solely on donations from Swiss patrons. To support the organisation and its vital work, Oris has created a series of 21 different Rega Fleet limited edition watches, each one saluting one of the 21 airframes occupied by the organisation.
This 41mm stainless steel Oris Big Crown ProPilot Rega Fleet watch commemorates the Airbus H145 HB ZQM with a special image engraved into its gunmetal PVD coated caseback, together with a limited edition number and a tail number relating to the specific aircraft.
This Oris Big Crown ProPilot limited edition watch features a matte black dial with a 24 hour scale around the edge, a GMT hand tipped in red, and a white Super LumiNova tipped black coated second hand. It also features luminous Arabic numeral hour markers, a date window at 3 o’clock and a red Rega logo, all protected under a double domed pane of anti reflective sapphire crystal glass. Equipped with an oversized crown, the Oris Rega Fleet limited edition watch still offers all the desirable features of a luxury pilot’s watch and is powered by the Oris 798 self winding movement, capable of a 42 hour power reserve. The watch comes fitted on a black leather strap with a gunmetal PVD coated folding clasp, but can be swapped with an additional red rubber band.
